Anyone know a cheap digital download option for this in the EU?

Steam is took expensive and boxed copies in Switzerland cost more than double what they did in the UK.

I've found greenmangaming but they have a problem with their payment system that won't accept any credit card or paypal I try to use :(

I can vouch this site is legit. Got BF3 for only $32CAD.

Also, this game is sucking hours from my days. I love it!

I think I'm using my vacation time well :p Today, started a pure mage and have made it to Level 12 already. Just finished the quest of going through the dwarven dungeon to find the staff, only to find out it is in some place called labinthia or whatever.

Lydia died in that dungeon as well, so I'm out of a helper at the moment. I have also only killed 2 dragons. I saw a 3rd one, but he never landed, just flew away.

With my mage, im going destro and conj trees. I haven't had too much trouble, except for the last dungeon, where the steampunk creatures were a tough kill. What really ruined me though, was the 2nd dragon I fought. Was somewhere up in the mountains, when I see this dragon perched on a shrine. I run up, he attacks. I fight him for a second, and see my health just drop massively. I thought it was strange, so I healed up, and started spinning around to see what else was near. I had apparently awoken some boss undead mage, who was just chunking these massive fireballs at me. So I had this mage and a dragon, both just pelting me with fire. I won the battle, but used up basically all my health pots. At least the boss gave me some awesome mask that increases lockpicking, alchemy, and something else by 20%. Also gave me 3 new dragon words to learn, Far fall, fool fall, and petty fall, or something like that.

But anyway, addicted to this, and tomorrow I will probably put in another 12+ hours :)

I played some more today, and the issue with dragons not showing up went away rather quickly. I fought 2 in the span of about 20 minutes after starting up the game. The battles were fun, if a bit tough.

One downside I see is that everything is incredibly dark. I have my brightness at 100% and I could still use it a bit brighter.

Really? I find the brightness to be just fine. You must have brightness set in your video card really low then, or your monitor.

My monitor is naturally dark and the brightness was perfect for me. Might want to check your monitor settings.

I had no idea you could improve weapons (and I presume armor) to Legendary.

Only goal I had for the evening was to do Thieves guild. Ended up running around exploring (got 100 achievement) and now I'm doing Legendary upgrades. Game is crazy with content. :)

So I was out riding around after rescuing someone for the Companions and I came across a ghosty on a horse by the name of The Headless Horseman. I couldn't attack or talk to him. Anyone else seen him? Whats kind of amusing is that he seems to ride into all kinds of stuff, almost as if he can't see where he's going..

yes, also in love with this game, and i forgive it the usual Gamebryo-inspiired clunkiness, even the one where you disappear when you get on your horse! no, i'm not being cynical, i do love this game!

I was fighting a group of bandits in some ruins last night and one of them was stuck/moving below the ground. Only his head and arms were above ground and it was the only part I could attack.

But other than that, the game has performed remarkably well. I'm impressed with how few glitches I've encountered so far, given how open, random, and dynamic the world is.

Damn, I still haven't even joined the Companions yet and I'm level 25. I gotta stop on crafting. heh

I think that is one thing i should start doing, Is crafting. I'm not rushing through the games by any means (i refuse to use a horse or fast travel). I just have no idea how to go about it. I tried making a weapons and could only make rubbish, i tried alchemy and got fed up cause i either made crap stuff or it failed and i lost my ingredients.

I'm a companion and just

joined the circle. Really weird waking up in field in your pants

I spent the better part of the last couple days just grinding smithing so i could make the dragon scale armor. now i need to level a few times so i can get deadric smithing to make better weapons.

Level scaling still sucks in this game btw, while you can make some uber gear by mixing smithing, enchanting and potions the game actually got a lot more difficult for me when I leveled by crafting some glass armor for myself (to the point where some bandits one shot me even though my armor doubled).

I don't have that problem, I originally turned my brightness up a bit, but being a thief as a Khajiit, I have night eye which I can cast over and over. So I turned the brightness back down, a few notches above the default maybe (for times where its dark but not extremely dark).

I've read some reports that the Draedic armor is actually better than Dragon armor...which makes no sense to me. It's not better by much, but it still has a higher defense rating.

Are there weapons associated with the Dragon smithing perk?

Nope only armor with the perk.

Hahaha, how true.. I should really find myself a stash to keep my crafting stuff in, can't stand exploring with 299/300 and then finding an awesome armor that I can't even carry without throwing away something else.. that is potentially as awesome.. or useful :/

I don't know which person you followed in the opening level, but I followed the Stormcloak guy which eventually led me to the woodcutter couple in Riverwood. In their house there is a chest by the bed that you're free to use. I just used that as a stash until I bought a house in Whiterun. It didn't count as a crime or anything from what I could tell, and I could come and go as I pleased.

I'm sure there has to be a similar chest in the blacksmith's home if you followed the imperial guy from the beginning.
