jkno
Just got the Desire HD, which also happens to be my first Android phone. Can anything be done to the default apps? The problem is that a lot of them kinda clutter up the app list as i won't need them. Is there a (secure) fix or something, that will allow me to either uninstall or disable some of them? Jonny Wright
Which apps in particular do you want to remove? Is the phone branded (Ie network logos within the OC etc) or stock? It's apps like Amazon MP3, Car Panel, Peep, QuickOffice, SoundHound, Stocks etc. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/956216-htc-desire-hd-just-got-it/#findComment-593426318 Share on other sites
Jonny Wright
Found this http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f56/deleting-native-default-apps-23277/ Not sure if you need to be rooted for this though. Also potentially risky in my opinion. Just depends on how badly you want rid of them really.
