Administrators Posted December 23, 2010 Administrators Share Posted December 23, 2010 As you can see on the Board Index, the status updates has been fixed, it's no longer duplicating updates, and it is adding them properly. But, a word of caution. If you have linked your Neowin account to Facebook and/or Twitter to pull status updates to your forum profile, they will display there, for everyone, including guests. If this bothers you, disable the ability for Facebook and/or Twitter to update your forum status and you can then add status updates manually from the sidebar, protecting your privacy. You can choose to add just to your forum profile (by not selecting Facebook or Twitter) or to your forum profile as well as one or both Facebook/Twitter. Please do note, that your Facebook account is not visible to any members or guests from the Status Updates, so no need to worry about that, your Neowin member-name is shown in all cases, not your Facebook name, unless you have specifically chosen that in your profile.
