December was a pretty dead month for big name games being released and so is January. Only a handful of good titles were released, so people can only talk so much about the same big name titles over and over. The more big new games that are released in said month or upcoming month, the more active the section is. Has been that way for 7 years now, and it will continue to be that way. In fact I am pretty sure if you tracked big title releases with the activity in the GH, you would see a pretty common thread. This time of the year especially over winter break (college student) is a great time to catch up on games I had to shelve temporarily like Fable 3.
