so no last minute deal with Steam and EA :(

As much as i would like to use steam, i find origin to be faster, downloading the game was quick, unlike steam where the speeds are crap. I do however not like having to have more than one game manager installed but im slowly moving away from steam anyways.

steam has never really been slow for me. i just downloaded deus ex at 5 megs a second the other day...

That's the impression I got from the community meeting I attended. I asked if it would be coming to Steam last minute, and he said "don't expect it by launch".

shaw internet in canada can't be touched... especially in NA, fatest in NA i'm pretty sure. 50mbs for 40 bucks a month, no problem. 350gb bandwidth allowance too :D

Umm...thats not correct. I have 50Mbps/5Mbps ($100) with Timewarner with no data cap. and I know Grande Cable here has a 110Mbps/5Mbps ($110) with no data cap ^_^

You can use Alt+printscreen to just capture whatever program is active but the "snipping tool" tool in Vista and Windows 7 is better if you use rectangular snipe.

Umm...thats not correct. I have 50Mbps/5Mbps ($100) with Timewarner with no data cap. and I know Grande Cable here has a 110Mbps/5Mbps ($110) with no data cap ^_^

if i want to get picky, shaw has a 1000mb connection you can get too, all through a coax cable.

And that's damn expensive. I can get no cap for 15 dollars more i just never come close to the 350gb...

$100 a month? :huh: You can get 100/20 net in Estonia for €24/month :D

Indeed! I'm speccing out an extremely budget build (955BE/6850) to play BF3 (conicnidentally my PC did recently crap out so I have an excuse to!

Just got some new headphone (logitech G930's) to help when it comes around dolby 7.1 will be really handy :) just have to survive 3 days of work till it comes.
