You came into this thread to start some ****. We are here to talk about BF3 and we are excited about it's release. If we wanted to talk about freakin' CoD then CoD would have as many replies and views as this thread. You can't handle it that people aren't talking about what you want them to talk about.

Battlefield isn't known for SP, neither is CoD. They both suck at SP. End of story. If you want a quality SP shooter experience, we'd talk Halo and Half-Life.

sorry for not being on this games dick... sorry for comparing it to the game EA keeps talking crap about and comparing itself too. sorry for having an opinion that is different then yours. I would argue that CoD is known for it's SP, but apparently your opinion is god. i don't know how i came in this thread to start some **** when i've been involved in most of the conversations since the thread started. but hey, clearly if i don't have your same opinion i'm a troll. you miss the part where I said i wanted to buy this game too when it hit steam?

I thought the SP for Black Ops was pretty good. Story lines are always kind of whack, but it kept me engaged in the story. I usually always finish the SP. I agree with the above on Halo SP. Halo 3 IMO had the best SP/MP combination. MP was awesome becaue it supported up to 4 local players. I can't tell you the amount of crazy win streaks I went on with friends.

Yeah I actually liked the black ops SP. Loved Cod4's SP, disliked WaW and MW2's SP. Haven't had a chance to try out the bf3 singleplayer yet, but from what I've seen it doesn't look as bad as people are making it out to be. I didn't expect anything more than a linear story based single player.

This is really annoying me and I need an answer. Ok, so I pre-ordered the PS3 version at Amazon.ca but it doesn't say limited edition. EA says anyone who pre-orders will receive the Limited Edition with the extra DLC. I've emailed Amazon.ca but their customer support is useless. Will I receive the Limited Edition or not?

How to show in-game FPS:-

  1. Get in a match
  2. Bring down the console using Ctrl + Alt + `
  3. Type render.drawfps 1

Tip: The key ` (called tilde) is located above TAB and left of 1.

If we don't answer it's probably because we don't know. You should try the VPN trick after the update. The instructions are a few pages back if you want to play. It's not against any rules so you'll be fine. I'm in the USA, already playing BF3 :D

I just do not think it is worth the risk. I am sure somewhere deep down in that EULA there is a stipulation about circumvention. Im not losing my Origin stuff for a 1/2 day extra play time.

Noooooo. I get home, and it says on the flyvpn website that there are no more ip addresses for the korean vpn.

Anybody else has another free korean vpn I can borrow for 2 min. ?
