so no last minute deal with Steam and EA :(

As much as i would like to use steam, i find origin to be faster, downloading the game was quick, unlike steam where the speeds are crap. I do however not like having to have more than one game manager installed but im slowly moving away from steam anyways.

steam has never really been slow for me. i just downloaded deus ex at 5 megs a second the other day...

Damn - I would kill to have your guys fast internet connections :/

shaw internet in canada can't be touched... especially in NA, fatest in NA i'm pretty sure. 50mbs for 40 bucks a month, no problem. 350gb bandwidth allowance too :D

That's the impression I got from the community meeting I attended. I asked if it would be coming to Steam last minute, and he said "don't expect it by launch".

:( i'll just have to wait.

Umm...thats not correct. I have 50Mbps/5Mbps ($100) with Timewarner with no data cap. and I know Grande Cable here has a 110Mbps/5Mbps ($110) with no data cap ^_^

if i want to get picky, shaw has a 1000mb connection you can get too, all through a coax cable.

And that's damn expensive. I can get no cap for 15 dollars more i just never come close to the 350gb...
