You can alt-enter to shrink the screen and quit via Origin. I do not because I fear I will lose whatever I just gained so I wait so I hear you on that.

Heh.. I saw you on the server yesterday! :) Hellacool.. I remember it :)

You can do all of that but the question is, will you lose your progress? It says that any unsaved progress will be lost. I'd hate to lose whatever experience I gained simply because I quit the game at a moment where my progress wasn't saved.

nope as long as the round completes you shouldn't loose experience or at least i havent.

I really don't get why people have been calling the campaign crappy. I just finished it, and I really liked it. Of course I've played better campaigns (Like Crysis 2's) but it was not bad at all.

Yep. It was not great and had quite a few flaws but IMO it's not as bad as some make it out to be.

Haven't read all the posts here so my apologies if anyone else has posted this comment:

The only thing that annoys me about BF3 is that stupid Origin application and Internet Explorer being opened, sucking up resources. Why couldn't they just build all that into the game's interface? Make it simpler instead of having 3 programs opened (Origin, IE and BF3).

It doesnt suck up resources, the way Windows 7 works it allocates resources according to what needs them, so if your game is in the foreground fullscreen it will give all the resources to the game.

I see...Interesting. Didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know.

Anyone here owns that Battlefield 3 Game Guide? If so, is it worth getting?

What do you mean? You can change the weapons in the main screen where you pick the place to spawn. Keep in mind that many weapons are class specific, eg, RPK is only for support and SVD is only available to recon. Also, the very first weapons (AK, RPK, SVD, M16A3, MK11 etc) and faction specific, for example, AK is available only when being on the Russian side, but M16A3 - when being American. All further unlocks will be available to both factions though. But I think you will be able to use the weapons of the other faction only when reaching a certain high level.

Oh! thanks, I didn't know about that last point you mentioned.

Well, I held out just over 24 hours before I ended up wandering into HMV and picking up and LE copy. I applied to the Neowin platoon, but I don't really have a clue about anything yet, so I won't be playing MP yet :p

A little tip, btw.

If you're looking to grind coop for the unlocks, do so on easy. There is no benefit to doing hard other than a bit of a pointless challenge. Easy is much more fun, faster, and you get the same amount of points per run.

Happy user of the unlocked M39, 93A, and REX

How the hell do you quit multiplayer on PS3? i've tried every button but can't find a way out? lol.

At the moment i need to wait for another game to start and quit that way, which seems a bit backwards?

Yeah, believe it or not, I do not think there is a way. It is the same thing on the PC, have to just sit there for like 30 seconds with your stats, etc.

I second this, after beating everything on hard for the hell of it, I've been beating my hard mode scores on easy. I would have thought that doing it on hard would offer more reward, but I guess not. I'm almost done, just need to unlock the G3 but to be honest after using it in the co-op it's really not all that great. Maybe it will be after the grip attachment is unlocked though.

I get the stuttering too, but it only happens on the a few maps like Caspain Border and Operation Firestorm. It's not a low fps thing because I rarely dip below 40 fps.

It's quite frustrating because 9 times out of 10 it results in a death.

It's happening on all of the maps for me D:

That's when I can actually get my 5770 to go over a 400MHz clock...
