Rappy Veteran Posted May 9, 2013 Author Veteran Share Posted May 9, 2013 Channel 4 has renewed its comedy series Friday Night Dinner for a third season of 6 episodes. The show?s third season is set to enter production in North London this Summer, with Channel 4 eyeing a 2014 premiere. Created by Robert Popper, Friday Night Revolves around the dysfunctional Goodman family who, every Friday, sit down to a family meal. The comedy series is produced by Big Talk Productions & Popper Pictures (both of whom recently re-teamed to produce Sky Living?s new six episode comedy series Give Out Girls) and stars Simon Bird, Tamsin Greig, Paul Ritter, Tom Rosenthal and Mark Heap. The series is written by Robert Popper, who also produces. The executive producer is Big Talk?s CEO Kenton Allen. In the show?s third season, Adam gains a new female admirer ? an 11-year old girl; Jonny gets the world?s worst tattoo; Dad gives the boys a graphic lecture on sex education; Mum practices being a counsellor on her horrified family; Grandma goes back out with the terrifying Mr Morris; Jim accidentally swallows his dog?s sleeping pills, and? there?s a wedding. ?I?m so excited to be making a new series of Friday Night Dinner with such a fantastic cast once again? said series creator Robert Popper. ?I really could not be happier. Well I could, if say, I?d taught crows how to speak and they, in turn, taught me how to fly.? While Nerys Evans, Channel 4?s Deputy Head of Comedy, added: ?We?re thrilled we?re going to be spending more Friday Nights with the Goodmans, and not forgetting Jim and Wilson too. Roberts?s created such a brilliantly warm and funny world, and the cast are just sublime, we can?t wait to join them for more Friday Night Dinners next year ? http://www.tvwise.co.uk/2013/05/channel-4-renews-friday-night-dinner-for-season-3/ Dick Montage 1 Share

+Peewee210 Subscriber¹ Posted July 22, 2014 Subscriber¹ Share Posted July 22, 2014 I'm now n episode 4 - they've made Jim too weird. It's daft. Yeah, they need to bin him off. Its like they are struggling to find ideas to include him in every episode. I love the show, the only fault with it is Jim.
