Povetkin got a good chance tonight against Wlad (and for the sake of division please win!)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, no.

He's pretty much unbeatable. There isn't a single HW in boxing today that possesses the power and the skill required to deliver it without being jabbed and clinched to death by Klitsh. Their only hope is to bring back prime Mike Tyson (or Lennox Lewis) through a time loop.

Yeah I thought he stood a chance honestly and everyone else did but of course from round one it was clear that was utter crap. He is unstoppable and I think the only way others are going to win the straps are if the Klitschkos retire

Pretty much. You certainly won't win a decision against them. The only way to beat them is by KO and that certainly isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Juan Manuel Marquez is out to inflict the first defeat of Timothy Bradley's career when he challenges for the American's WBO welterweight title in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Marquez, 40, is also bidding to become the first Mexican to win world titles in five weight classes.
Marquez and Bradley beat Filipino great Manny Pacquiao in 2012.

On the undercard, Orlando Cruz will attempt to become the first openly gay boxer to win a world title.
The Puerto Rican fights Mexico's Orlando Salido for the vacant WBO featherweight title.

David Haye vs Tyson Fury cancelled, Haye advised to retire after shoulder surgery

...and predictably, Fury's making a complete arse of himself on Twitter again. Bet he wishes he didn't back out of the Klitschko fight now!

Yeah Tyson and his Team are just using Twitter to slate Haye which is ok if Haye turns out to be lying but if he's not he can't really rebuttal them.

Let's hope next person in the firing line for Fury is Deontay Wilder :D

If only Haye had kept his promise and retired at 31, none of this would've happened. Deontay Wilder is an interesting fighter, a proven finisher. But if you can't beat the Klitschkos, you're going nowhere in the HW division.

If Pacquiao loses, that would make it three in a row for him and conclusively close the book on a Floyd Mayweather fight. Well, two in a row if you, like any sane person, take into consideration the ridiculous scoring in the Timothy Bradley fight.

If he loses, he should just retire or he risks tarnishing his legacy, a lighter version of post-1997 Mike Tyson. If he loses by KO, he should be forced to retire.

Also, notice the Power Balance bracelet. LOL.

Rios should be easy for Manny though I feel, even if Manny wins this no chance of a Floyd fight anyway. Khan is up next for the beating!

Also this weekend!

I am mildly interested...I just feel Groves is jumping to early, at least De Gale is working his way up to this level

I agree, Brandon R?os should be a gimme fight for Pacquiao. But still, something seems off about him. Maybe the Juan Manuel M?rquez hurt him more than we think. Also, why is this fighting still going ahead after what happened in the Philippines?

It all goes back to something I've said before in this thread: Pacquiao is broke as hell and needs to keep fighting, even if his body isn't up to the task.

Team Fury is now aiming to face unbeaten Deontay Wilder on February 8 instead of Haye and the Wilder camp is interested. Jay Deas, trainer and advisor to Wilder tweeted ?@BronzeBomber wants it, so do I. Fury-Wilder HUGE fight. We will travel to fight in UK. Find a table and lets sit down at it and talk.?

...well ######. So he gets to walk away boasting about being undefeated even though he never fought anyone actually decent.

It's all for show, his team are in talks with Deontay Wilder at the moment for the February date

Hope so, as with everything he's said and tweeted, he's long overdue a loss, preferably by knockout.
