You can easily find the MD5 checksums via Google for the various flavors/languages of the ISO's. As long as they match, you're golden. 0 Pam14160
Why are you using the trail when the actual is already out. You should be able to get it via Windows update Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/989650-windows-7-sp1-version-verify/#findComment-593882040 Share on other sites

0 +Xinok Subscriber² Posted April 12, 2011 Subscriber² Share Posted April 12, 2011 Use this program to generate hashes: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/hash_my_files.html Paste the MD5 or SHA1 hash into Google to verify. If the hash is correct, you'll get lots of results saying so. 0 Jen Smith
Just to throw it out there, HashTab is another handy one, adds a new tab to the Explorer properties window and lists a few different checksum formats. Can copy/paste a checksum for a quick comparison as well as comparing multiple files. goretsky 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/989650-windows-7-sp1-version-verify/#findComment-593882208 Share on other sites
0 Anthonyd
Is there really a "trial" for 7? I though it was reserved to Windows server editions. 0 +Frank B. Subscriber² Posted April 12, 2011 Subscriber² Share Posted April 12, 2011 Is there any specific reason why you can't just install SP1 via Windows Update or download the setup file from microsoft.com rather than worrying about the leaked build (which btw is the RTM build)? 0 xendrome
Judging from the dates in that screenshot, Nov 10th 2010.. I'd say something is fishy. Is there any specific reason why you can't just install SP1 via Windows Update or download the setup file from microsoft.com rather than worrying about the leaked build (which btw is the RTM build)? It's not the SP1 alone, he has a 3.5GB full install..
