Use this program to generate hashes:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/hash_my_files.html

Paste the MD5 or SHA1 hash into Google to verify. If the hash is correct, you'll get lots of results saying so.

MD5 - 14396466089135a8eaf715394e77ad30

SHA1 - 7ff5817e534dd502e21c287fb528b209ce509b07

CRC32 - ee54829e

Should I trust file version ? .. 6.1.7601.17514 (win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850)

Hash for the setup.exe is just verifying setup.exe which wont tell if the other files are legit

Is there any specific reason why you can't just install SP1 via Windows Update or download the setup file from microsoft.com rather than worrying about the leaked build (which btw is the RTM build)?

Judging from the dates in that screenshot, Nov 10th 2010.. I'd say something is fishy.

It's not the SP1 alone, he has a 3.5GB full install..

Hash the ISO file and post it here. Hash for the setup.exe is just verifying setup.exe which wont tell if the other files are legit.

Just to throw it out there, HashTab is another handy one, adds a new tab to the Explorer properties window and lists a few different checksum formats. Can copy/paste a checksum for a quick comparison as well as comparing multiple files.

+1 for HashTab it totally rocks.
