Anyway to get my fonts back to Firefox 4 style?

Yep, set "gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.force_gdi_classic_for_families" to be blank, and set "gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.force_gdi_classic_max_size" to 0 (so it never uses GDI positioning)

Do both of those and you'll always have correct positioning, vs. having it vary based on the font size and font used.

Great, thank you.

Yes I have noticed it. As a matter of fact on several sites I have noticed the Aurora to be noticeably faster rendering the pages than the latest Nightly

PGO is disabled in nightlies to track crashes

Profile Guided Optimization. Its a compiler option that improves performance.

Ahhhh...Thank you very much...

Did anyone noticed that they have finally updated the look of Bookmarks Manager to match the rest of application (Windows version)?

it's about time, they should have done that before the even released 4

that just seemed sloppy to me leaving it in the old style

And still we have the Directwrite's benefits. Fx is using exactly the same system as IE 9.

Just perfect.

Revanmj, that's old change/news. :p

Zlip792, you're obsessed.

None whatsoever. It's not really an important change - they only tweak critical/near-critical stuff during beta.

@Kirkburn

Well, I was just asking since I don`t see them landing. Also I also like Bug fixes but demanding some new features does not make me obsessed.

After a major release (3.6->4,and with the new version number implementation, 4->5 shouldn't be considered a 'major' release), don't expect big new 'features', and I don't really see tab animation as anything to be excited about, but we have our opinions on things.

Can't wait to try out builds with Azure, it'll be interesting to see how the performance changes moving from a stateful drawing API to a stateless one.

You can try a build with azure from the second link in Zlip792 post.It is awesome.I can't wait this to officialy hit nightly and eventually beta and stable. With azure the HA is even better than IE9s(at least in FishBowl test) :woot:
