Firefox does support MJPEG (that is, consecutive JPEG images sent via multipart/x-mixed-replace), but there's an issue where when the second frame starts being received, it replaces the entirety of the last frame (so the frame vanishes and slowly displays the new one). Bug 625012 deals with fixing the issue.

So they really can make firefox uglier if they try.

That's more down to Metro than anything else

Maybe. But I dislike the whole astralis look, though. The tabs are what I thought was as ugly as can be... until now.

As usual, the main things stopping it from being enabled are web compatibility issues, some web pages expect plugins to be enabled and run instantly, and assume they aren't installed if that's the case.

I think the Silverlight loader has that behavior, which doesn't really surprise me (In the past they relied on a race condition being present in previous versions of Firefox, so when it got fixed Silverlight across the web broke)

Really liking this atm, initially had a massive memory leak 2GB> at times, but seem to have cured it with a combination of these

RAM use fluctuates between 55MB and 500MB as the addons recover the ram (EDIT - just seen a 12MB use after recovery :D )

Downloads bar seems ok, no grumbles :)
