So, it's been an exciting year with MSN and AOL. Both are slated for the releases of there new clients in October. I wanted to get this thread going, cause I do this pretty much every year. I wanted to battle off AOL and MSN this year in a 'calmer' way...usually these threads turn into "I hate AOL threads," but that's not what I want to see. I want to see actual feature debates and stuff like that. Don't argue, be nice, keep it On-topic. I am also going to see if I can post some screen shots of MSN in here at a later time.

On that note, let us begin. :D

I suppose that I would still have access (not that I'll ever use it), being that I'm an MSN subscriber.

Why are you giving out internal/msn beta sites to the entire site?

It should be for testers eyes only. :rolleyes:

Well not to sound terrible, but Video@AOL ver 2 is way better than the MSN Video site (well MSN Video is still in beta, so I won't put final judge on it yet), the video in Video@AOL is all encoded at 350Kbps (some over 400) which is basically VCD quality and still looks great when playing full screen, try make your MSN Video to play full screen... Ugh...

ok just just notice this thread....only read the two first pages !!!

Between the two i'm going to MSN Premium. I use it....it's more "open" that AOL. Like you can forward pop account under MSN Mail and make them default like Outlook.

This morning i downloaded the latest version (thanks to Neowin info).

me and some are currently devolloping a network and there 's gonna be a MSN channel ....if you wish to take a look ....http://www.xiondigital.net/beta/msn/

What i'd like to see iun future MSN releases is:

- the Radio Plus part of the subscription

- AddressGuard just likeYahoo Mail Plus

- HTML signature capability

- An offline access to the notepad (not limited to 999 characters)

- some skin would be cool

- more than 20 fav links on the new My MSN page .....Yahoo Bookmarks allows hundreds on My Yahoo....for years now
