0 m4ch1n3g0d
Thats odd, what types of stuff are you burning? Did you try another burning program? Try to do a cloneCD or use alchohol 120%. If the disks are burning, then it might just be Nero, maybe try to uninstal it and re-instal it again. 0 Roger H. Veteran Posted September 9, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 9, 2003 well maybe your CD is copy protected somehow... i dunno since i never bought office XP ... I had Office 2000 then now to Office 2003 :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/99722-annoying-nero-error/#findComment-1146160 Share on other sites
0 m4ch1n3g0d
It could be the copy protection, but usually it will tell you before hand that it cant burn due to the copy protection. 0 Captain Crunch
It happens with everything i try to burn.. even a single .PNG image wont burn.... ive tried neo, easy cd creator, windows xp built in cd burning software.... and none of them burn.... Ive loooked into the track following error message on google and it seems to be a hardware problem... (the cd writing lense maybe dirty it suggests) how can i clean my cd writers lense? (i also tried burning on my windows 98 hard drive and i also get this error) any tips on cleaning my cd lense? i have a special cd somewhere that cleans cd drive lenses but i cannot find it at the moment do you think that will work? 0 Evizu
you can buy cds to clean cd roms, try your nearest computer shop to try and get one. if you ask the staff that you want something to clean your cd rom lense, im sure they will point in the right direction.
