January Desktop

damn neowin really gets you hooked. before i would only change my desktop once every 4-5 months. Now i find myself doing it 2-3 times a day!!! damn you people! :)

well here a pic of my desktop:

o by the way i cant figure out how to make a 32 bit icon, ive tried that converter deal but it never works. can someone help me out.

try Prophecy and you won't change your desk ever again :)

what i dont like in classic theme are the standard start button, and the large taskbar.. if brw2k1 makes the taskbar smaller like AquaBase theme, im willing to pay for the theme..

it's very stable even in the fact that its a beta.....ive been runing it for 2 months and no major problems....so yes its better then xp and 2k

I just joined recently and figured I'd throw my usual desktops in the mix. I must say, I have seen some fantastic desktops since the new year began.

My theory on the Windows desktop has been a simple one:

I use it to simply show pictures on. I really don't care for icons on the desktop, preferring to use the quick launch bar for the most used proggies, backed up by the Start button for everything else.

Thanks to you folks, however, I now have things like a calendar and the transparent Trillian on board to spice the desktop up a little.

They're not much, but they are what I use. Enjoy!
