Anyone tried... theiretically yes, and in doing so you would bypass the need to use a CD key to play online (by setting up a lan game and adding ip to haloserv) But I dont want this thread locked. so for the record, no. idbuythatforadollar Posted September 27, 2003 Author Share Posted September 27, 2003 i believe thats cos of the way halo was cracked: any cd key can be used, wether it matches the serial # algorthym or not. when a legit cd key comes out, that will be able to be played on lan servers, but not the internet, cos too many people will want to use it on the net, and im guessing only 1 person can use a key at one time.
