Titanfall was one of the biggest games of 2014, and almost as soon as it launched on Xbox and Windows PCs, gamers began anticipating the possibility of a sequel. A follow-up was confirmed just over a year ago, and today, EA released the first teaser trailer for the new game.
"People like you always want to be the hero," the voiceover says. "The problem with being a hero is you have to be willing to die for what you believe in. If I were you, I wouldn't try so hard... You'll live longer."
Given that this is just a teaser, it should come as no surprise that the video is somewhat light on detail, but it does state that a "worldwide reveal" is coming on June 12, when we'll no doubt find out a good deal more about the game.
It emerged in February that Titanfall 2 will have a full campaign mode - rather than focusing purely on the multiplayer experience, as the original did - and it seems a TV show is also in the works.
The game will be released on PC and Xbox One (but not the Xbox 360 this time around), and it will also be making its way to the PlayStation 4.
In the meantime, you can sign up to get more news about the new game when it's available via the game's official website.
