14% of Internet Uses iTunes
According to the BBC, Statistics gathered by Nielsen NetRatings shows that traffic to Apple's iTunes Music Store grew by 241 percent in 2005.
The research revealed that teenagers aged between 12 and 17 years old made up most of the users of iTunes. The figures mean that about 14% of the internet's active users are regularly using iTunes.
Between December 2004 and 2005 the numbers of people going to the site grew from 6.1 million to 20.7 million.
Most users were male, equaling 54% of the total amount of users.
