"Omnibus" is a game which tasks players with driving a bus and completing objectives without stopping or slowing down their vehicle. The game started as a Kickstarter project back in August 2015, which managed to surpass its $5000 funding goal in less than 30 days. While people who pledged $5 for Omnibus guarantee themselves a digital copy of the game, the publisher Devolver Digital, has also announced a $7,500 Omnibus Ultimate Edition up for grabs.
Pre-ordering this relatively expensive version grants buyers the game itself, an original soundtrack, and a real life bus. You read that right. The bus, which has been described by the developers as a vehicle that "may or may not have been used to motion capture lifelike bus movement for the game", has to be picked up from a storage location in North America by buyers themselves.
Devolver Digital has described the game in the following words:
OmniBus is an unstoppable force of nature that can break through almost anything! However, OmniBus doesn't have any brakes so stopping is not an option. You can only control the direction and endure the speed that slowly increases over time. The only way to lose is to flip onto your side or drive into water.
