Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor was one of the best games that launched in 2014, and the upcoming sequel has generated a lot of excitement amongst gamers since its reveal earlier this year. The game will now launch in October after it was delayed by the studio, however, according to some store listing pages, Warner Bros. seem to be getting ready to launch a mobile version of the game on Android and iOS soon.
Some gameplay footage has leaked online as well, and the hawk eyes on Reddit have noted that the game is currently only available in the Philippines in what appears to be a "soft launch". The company hasn't unveiled an official launch date for the mobile game yet, but the store page notes that it was listed on July 6 and describes it as follows:
Certain that it will help overthrow Sauron and raise himself as a force for good in his place, Celebrimbor has forged a new ring of power. Alongside this new ring, he has forged a series of minor rings that are bound to its fate and call to Champions across Middle-earth; wage the Shadow War and overthrow Sauron's armies.
The game is an RPG-like experience which will allow you to modify and level-up your characters. You will get to play as Talion, Gandalf, Gollum, and Galadriel, with the titlel bringing the popular Nemesis system into the fold as well. Combat will be in real-time and players will have many of the same skills that they might have enjoyed in the original game. Pricing and availability details have not been revealed as of yet.
