Microsoft today released a new Office Insider build for Macs, but the company is also releasing one for Android devices. The Office Insider Program on Android consists of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and it brings the version number to 16.0.7668.4756, 16.0.7668.5013, and 16.0.7668.4260, respectively.
There isn't much in the way of new features, but there is one item that's the same across all three applications:
Use SVG images in Word: Insert and edit scalable vector graphic (SVG) images in your document to create sharp, well-designed content. No expert software required.
Last month's Office for Android update was much more heavy on features, including maps in Excel, new cloud storage options, new accessibility features (which were added to the Mac build today), and more.
If you're an Office Insider already, you can update your apps through the Google Play Store at the links below. If not, you can sign up by joining the Office Insider for Android Google+ community and then signing up to be a beta tester. If the Insider Program isn't for you, you'll probably see this update within a couple weeks.
Update: An additional feature has been added to the changelog:
Multi-Windows Support for Word and Excel for Android* You can now have multiple apps share your screen at the same time with Android 7.0 Nougat. For example on hand-held devices, two apps can run side-by-side or one-above-the-other in split screen mode.
