Honor's Magic 2 smartphone is slated to be revealed in full on October 31. Prior to the date, we have been lucky enough to get new information about the phone and now, we get our best look at the device yet, showing off the front and its rear in a vibrant color.
These new images showing off the Magic 2 were posted on a Weibo profile, and allow us to see the phone in a new red colorway. The front is what we have seen in the past, featuring a nearly bezel-less display and a sliding mechanism that reveals various sensors and front-facing camera. The rear of the phone has a triple camera setup and doesn't seem to have a fingerprint reader. This could indicate that the handset will arrive with an in-display reader, which has been popular amongst high-end models from Asia.
As for specifications, the Magic 2 will be powered by a Kirin 980 SoC, 8GB RAM, and will have 128GB of internal storage. It will also have a 6.39-inch AMOLED display, 3,400mAh battery, USB Type-C for data transfer and charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The rear camera will make use of dual 16MP sensors, along with a 24MP sensor for its rear cameras. While this is all interesting, we will have to wait just a while longer for the full reveal, but October 31 looks to be an exciting day.
