Acer today unveiled new iterations of many of its ConceptD notebooks for creative professionals. The updates cover many of the laptops in the range, including the ConceptD 3, 5, and 7 families.
First off, the new ConceptD 7 Ezel, Acer's flagship convertible for creative professionals, has been upgraded to a new 11th-generation Intel Core i7-11800H and up to a GeForce RTX 3080 GPU. You can also get the ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro with an Intel Xeon W-11955M CPU and Nvidia's Quadro RTX A5000 or A3000 GPUs if you need more performance. For storage, you can get up to two 2TB PCIe SSDs inside, and it can also be configured with up to 32GB of DDR4 memory.
It has a 15.6-inch 4K display validated by PANTONE and with 100% coverage of Adobe RGB, along with color accuracy rating of Delta E
In terms of connectivity, there's two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB Type-A ports, Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, and a combo audio jack. There's also an SD card reader.
Then there's the ConceptD 5 and 5 Pro, which are more traditional notebook, but still powerful for creative workflows. The ConceptD 5 comes with 11th-generation Intel Core H-series processors and up to a GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPU, while the ConceptD 5 Pro can be configured with a Quadro RTX A5000 or A3000. You can get up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and two 2TB PCIe Gen4 SSDs in RAID 0 for fast storage. All this is kept cool by Acer's Vortex Flow thermal design with triple cameras.
Another highlight of this year's ConceptD 5 is that they now use a 16-inch display thanks to the new taller 16:10 aspect ratio, which also means a higher screen-to-body ratio of 87%. They come in 3K resolution (3072x1920) and they support 100% of DCI-P3 with the same color accuracy as the ConceptD 7 Ezel.
As for ports, you get two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, two USB Type-A ports, Ethernet, HDMI, an SD card reader, and a combo audio jack.
Finally, there's the ConceptD 3 and ConceptD 3 Ezel, the first being a typical notebook and the other a convertible, which are also now available with up to an H-series Intel Core i7 and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. Each of the models also comes in a Pro variant with an Nvidia T1200 laptop GPU.
The display is a 14-inch panel validated by PANTONE and with 100% sRGB coverage, along with color accuracy of Delta E
The ConceptD 7 Ezel will be available in North America starting at $2,499 and in EMEA regions starting at €2,699 in October. The ConceptD 5 will be available in August in North America starting at $1,999, and in EMEA in July starting at €2,199.
