Acer announced a refreshed lineup of Swift 3 laptops at CES today, including the Swift 3 SF313-52 and the Swift 3 SF314-42, a 13.5- and 14-inch model, respectively. Aside from the size differences, the 13.5-inch model has Intel Ice Lake CPUs and the 14-inch model has AMD Ryzen processors.
The 13.5-inch model comes with up to an Intel Core i7-1065G7, and the screen has a 3:2 aspect ratio with an 83.65% screen-to-body ratio, making it similar to a Surface Laptop. It's 15.95mm thin, and it weighs in at just 2.62 pounds. It also supports fast charging, with Acer promising four hours of use on a 30-minute charge.
Moreover, it has the option of Nvidia graphics from the MX lineup, which should offer a bit of a performance bump over the already-solid Iris Plus Graphics that are included with Ice Lake.
And then there's the 14-inch model, which includes AMD's new 7nm Ryzen 4000 processors that were announced today, up to a Ryzen 7 4700U. It weighs in at just 2.6 pounds and comes in at 15.95mm thin, also in a metal chassis. It also offers yp to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, Wi-Fi 6, and up to a 512GB PCIe SSD.
