Activision requires credit cards now

According to Gamecloud the new "Age Gate" has just gone a step further. Activision is now requiring users to not only verify age, but they must provide a valid credit card to view "M" rated video games such as Soldier of Fortune II and Tenchu.

On this page you can view all the "M" rated games, and when you click on one, a pop up will appear requiring your birthdate and credit card number. Gamecloud and several other websites have tried to get a statement from Activision regarding this new development but so far Activision has remained silent.
