Activision revealed today that it has inked a licensing agreement with Marvel Enterprises today that gives the company exclusive rights to four Marvel franchises until 2009. These include Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and Iron Man. The deal also includes the right to create games based on any movies related to the franchises.
Activision is currently working on a third-person action game based on the X-Men's most popular member, Wolverine, called X2: Wolverine's Revenge for multiple platforms and games based on the Fantastic Four and Iron Man are already in the pipeline.
