- Actual Transparent Windows allows you to make any window transparent from 0% (fully transparent) to 100% (opaque and solid) in Windows 2000/XP. You might want to do this for your Windows taskbar, Winamp, your e-mail program or instant messenger. Transparent Windows is great with Notepad or other accessories where you need to work in one window while looking at another.
