Dragon Ball FighterZ's fighter roster just keeps on expanding, as three additional iconic characters from the Dragon Ball Z series have now been confirmed for the Arc System Works developed fighting game.
According to the latest issue of V-Jump magazine, the game will include Gotenks, Adult Gohan, and Kid Buu as fighters. Each of them comes equipped with special moves taken straight from the source material as well.
Adult Gohan has 'Ultimate Kamehameha' as his special move, along with the ability to expend his energy meter to unlock his potential. Kid Buu's special move is 'Planet Burst', while Gotenks is armed with the 'Charging Ultra Buu Buu Volleyball'. Although Piccolo helped serve Gotenks' special move in the original series, in the game, the partner will be a character from the team that Gotenks is in.
Beyond that, the magazine also revealed that there will be an Arcade Mode as well as an in-game shop offering color variations and titles for characters. Players will be able to purchase these using Zeni (in-universe money) earned in battle.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is heading to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on January 26. A console exclusive open beta is also happening in January, with early access given to those who pre-order the game.
