AOL has just released the latest version of their instant messaging client, AIM 6.1.32.1. The home page seems to still display the same message as it did for 6.0, with the version number being the only obvious change. The beta page, however, touts that the main differences between 6.1 and 6.0 as: "Buddy List docking, the ability to insert images in your Buddy Info, improvements to linked screen names and a few new personalization options." AOL emphasizes that despite the final release of version 6.1, feedback is still welcome.
About the download: Installing AIM 6.1 overwrites any AIM 6 software that you might have on your machine. However, you can still use AIM 5.9, too. This new version doesn't overwrite the AIM 5.9 software.
