Although not much is known about Alcatel's upcoming Windows 10 Mobile devices, except that they "are committed" to the platform, the company has already started shipping the OneTouch Fierce XL on T-Mobile in the US, a mid-range smartphone priced at $139.
Now, WMPU has exclusive details on what is possibly their "Superphone," something promised by Alcatel's senior vice president of the North America region Steve Cistulli last month in an interview to CNet. According to WMPU, the 'Idol Pro 4' will be Alcatel’s new Windows 10 Mobile flagship device and will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 - and perhaps more importantly for any flagship class device - support Continuum for phones. In addition, the website has learned that the Idol Pro 4 will also come with a Full HD display and will again head to T-Mobile in the United States.
And finally, WMPU states that the Idol 4 Pro will also have 'Reset Protection', a free service from Microsoft that can ring, lock, or even erase your stolen or lost device.
That's about all we know about it for now, but we'll keep you updated with more details as they surface.
