Alcatel's as yet, unconfirmed flagship for Windows 10 Mobile, the Idol Pro 4, that we reported they were lining up in February, has passed its Wi-Fi certification, allowing us to take a look at the different wireless connectivity protocols that the device will support.
It will have support for one of the latest wireless standards, ac, as well as older standards including: a, b, g and n. We can also see that it will support many of the Wi-Fi security protocols, which include: WPA Personal and Enterprise, along with WPA2 Personal and Enterprise.
This certification only covers the T-Mobile variant of the device, and no other certifications have appeared, which leads to the assumption that it could be US-only.
From what we know, the Idol Pro 4 will come with:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB internal storage
- 22MP rear camera, with 10MP front camera
- Continuum support
- 1080p display (possibly 1440p)
- Reset Protection by Microsoft
- Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac connectivity
We'll keep you up-to-date as we find out more about Alcatel's upcoming 'Superphone' for Windows 10 Mobile.
