Last year, there was significant buzz surrounding Google's Sailfish and Marlin smartphones, which eventually turned out to be the Pixel and Pixel XL flagship phones from the company. Now, there are two new codenames out in the wild, which are believed to be belonging to the next Pixel smartphones.
The smartphones are currently being referred to as "Muskie" and "Walleye". Out of these "Walleye" has been spotted on the Android Open Source Project's code collaboration service, Gerrit, while "Muskie" is still a rumoured codename. According to Android Police, Muskie will be the larger device out of the two.
We already know that Google will be launching the Pixel successors later this year, however, there is no other information available about them currently. Since the company is remaining tight-lipped with regards to launching any new Pixel laptops for now, these might be the only devices carrying the brand this year.
