OnePlus's next device, the OnePlus 8T, has reportedly popped up on benchmarking site Geekbench, providing some information regarding its internals. The listing has been spotted by 91Mobiles, which claims the specs shown on the site belong to the upcoming flagship device.
The phone has a model number KB2001 and runs Android 11. It is powered by a Qualcomm chipset bearing the codename "kona". A chip with that codename first showed up on Geekbench last year and is believed to be the internal name for the Snapdragon 865. Even the report suggests that the SoC in the benchmark is the 865. The device in the listing sports 7.42GB of RAM.
OnePlus is expected to launch the handset in October or November. While not much is known about the phone's official specs, recent rumors suggested it would feature 65W fast charging. This indicates that the company aims on setting the bar higher in terms of offering a fast charging experience with its smartphones. Other rumored specs of the OnePlus 8T include a 64MP camera, a step up from the 8 Pro's 48MP sensor.
The next-generation device is still months away from its unveiling. That being said, more leaks are likely to surface over the coming weeks and months.
