Want a chance to get the Xbox One before Christmas? Amazon, which has consistently been the only online retailer to put new units of Microsoft's console on sale since its launch a few weeks ago, has done so yet again with a new shipment now available for order
The listing for the standard $499.99 version of the Xbox One warns that it will take between one to two days for the order to be processed, so if you are getting this as a Christmas present you might want to get your order in ASAP. There's no listings of any game bundles this time, as there was with the last time Amazon had the Xbox One on sale, which is a bummer.
The NPD group stated Thursday that 909,132 units of the Xbox One had been sold in the U.S. in November. Earlier this week, Microsoft said 2 million of the consoles had been sold in its 13 markets since the November 22nd launch. Microsoft's director of Xbox Live programming Larry Hyrb noted in a Twitter message this week that the Xbox 360 took five months to reach the 2 million sales number. Add it all up, and demand for the Xbox One remains very high and there's no signs it is slowing down.
Update: Best Buy's website is showing that it has Xbox One consoles in stock as well and they will be shipped by December 24th, just in time for Christmas.
