Amazon is offering some chunky discounts on five handsets in the United States, including one of Nokia's new Android devices. The retail giant already offers similar savings on a range of devices for customers who subscribe to Amazon Prime, and this latest batch of handsets adds to the existing offering.
HMD Global announced yesterday that its Nokia 6 handset will launch in the US next month, and will be sold exclusively through Amazon, priced at $229.99. But as part of Amazon's Prime Exclusive Phones lineup, the Nokia 6 will be available to Prime subscribers for just $179.99.
Phones purchased through the Prime Exclusive Phone program come with "personalized deals and product recommendations" on the lockscreen, as well as pre-installed apps from the retailer, such as Amazon Kindle and Amazon Video.
In addition to the Nokia 6, four other devices are being added to Amazon Prime Exclusive Phones today:
- Moto E4 | usually $129.99 | $99.99 for Prime members (save $30)
- Alcatel A30 Plus | usually $129.99 | $79.99 for Prime members (save $50)
- Alcatel A50 | usually $199.99 | $129.99 for Prime members (save $70)
- Alcatel IDOL 5S | usually $279.99 | $199.99 for Prime members (save $80)
You can view the full lineup of Amazon Prime Exclusive Phones here. All five of the new additions are available to pre-order today; the Moto E4 will begin shipping on June 30, while the other four handsets will be available from July 10.
