China's TCL Computer Tech. Co. has begun selling notebooks and desktop computers using Advanced Micro Devices processors. Desktops using AMD 64 processors are currently available while AMD 64 laptops are expected in April. The TCL deal marks AMD's second win in China, right after Hedy Holding Co. announced it would begin offering AMD chips in some desktops. China's top three computer manufacturers, Lenovo Group, Beijing Founder Electronics Co., and Tsinghua Tongfang Co., all offer computers with AMD microprocessors inside.
