It has been a little over two years since the debut of Analogue Interactive's Nt console that offered a high-end NES experience. Today, the company has announced a new console, the Analogue Nt mini.
The Analogue Nt mini will offer the same high quality construction as the original, but come in a much smaller package. Like the Analogue Nt, the "mini" will be able to play original NES and Famicom cartridge games, and will also be able to utilize each consoles original accessories. The mini will also have the most diverse set of video connections offering HDMI, RGB, component, S-Video and composite. Those looking to refine the video experience will be happy to know that there will be a vast set of options, which are detailed in the video above.
The console is being made available for pre-order at a starting price of $449 USD. The console is set to arrive in January 2017. If the Nt mini is too much, or the wait too long, you might consider Nintendo's NES Classic Mini that is set to arrive in November at a much more modest price of $60.
