Android 6.0 Marshmallow rolls out to Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ in France

Samsung's rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been gradually gathering pace in recent weeks, having already made its way to a range of devices in various markets.

The company began upgrading its extra-large Galaxy S6 edge+ last month, and it has since reached the device in several parts of the world, including India and the United States (on Sprint).

And now, as MobiPicker reports, the Galaxy S6 edge+ is also heading to France. Numerous users have already received the update there, which weighs in at around 1300MB. As on other Galaxy devices, Samsung has added to Google's improvements in Android 6.0 with some of its own enhancements, such as the TouchWiz interface.

Google originally released the Marshmallow update in October, but so far, the newest version of the OS is installed on just 2.3% of Android devices.
