Earlier this month, Verizon released the latest Android OS update for Samsung's Galaxy Note Edge on its network. Now, Big Red is bringing the taste of that sweet Marshmallow goodness to another of Samsung's devices.
As SamMobile reports, Android 6.0.1 has begun rolling out to the Galaxy Tab E 8.0. The device is an affordable tablet with 4G LTE connectivity, which was unveiled in January, and joined Verizon's range a few weeks later.
The update increases the device's software version to T377VVRU1BPD6, and along with the various improvements that Google included in Marshmallow, it also comes with a few of Samsung's own revisions and additions, as well as the Android security patches for June (the most recent version to have been released so far).
As always, remember that over-the-air updates often take a while to reach all eligible devices, so don't panic if it doesn't appear immediately for your Galaxy Tab E on Verizon.
