Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow heads to Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ on T-Mobile

Samsung has already pushed its Marshmallow update to the supersized Galaxy S6 edge+ in various markets such as India and France in recent weeks, and it's also made its way to the United States, including on Sprint.

Now, owners of the Galaxy S6 edge+ on T-Mobile US can look forward to a taste of that sweet Marshmallow goodness, as the over-the-air update has started rolling out.

The update bumps up the OS version to Android 6.0.1, and the software build up to G928TUVU2DPD1. It comes with the various features that Google packed into its newest OS release, along with a few extra toppings from Samsung, including the company's TouchWiz interface, and the latest security patches.

In addition to its availability for the Galaxy S6 edge+, T-Mobile also started its Marshmallow rollout for the Galaxy Note 5 this week.
