Back in September, Motorola and Google announced the Android One edition of the Moto X4 which ships with the stock version of the Android operating system.
If you're in possession of the Moto X4 Android edition, there's a good news for you. The smartphone is now receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update along with the latest security patch. The new update has a build number of OPW27.1. The over-the-air (OTA) update is rolling out as we speak so it may take some time to reach all devices.
The Android 8.0 Oreo update brings a handful of improvements and new features, including autofill which remembers your login credentials on your favorite apps along with several performance enhancements. Furthermore, the new version also has a picture-in-picture feature which gives users the ability to see two apps at the same time.
