Ubisoft's Forward presentation is slated to reveal official Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay, but an unfortunate leak already gave a hefty look at the Viking era-set RPG. Now, another leak seems to have leaked the release date, with the official Assassin's Creed Italy Instagram page accidentally putting forth a video which showed a November 17 launch.
The Instagram post in question has already been pulled, but not before eagle-eyed fans on Reddit managed to save the footage. The leaked mini-trailer also had some gameplay attached to it, showing the new environment loot scan effect.
The leaked November 17 launch is probably for Assassin's Creed Valhalla's PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia versions. Of course, there is a slim chance of the release date being changed at the last moment before tomorrow's presentation. The title is also heading to Xbox Series X - with Smart Delivery support - and PlayStation 5, but it's unclear when these enhanced versions will land.
The E3-replacement Ubisoft Forward main show will kick off at 12PM PDT on July 12, bringing news of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, Far Cry 6, Hyper Scape, and others, as well as a giveaway for Watch Dogs 2.
