The folks at Legit Reviews have some new information on AOpen's Pandora PC - a product that has a striking resemblance to Apple's Mac Mini. While the external appearance is similar, the internals of course are not. According to AOpen sources, it boasts a Celeron M 1.3GHz processor, 256MB DDR2 SDRAM, 40GB 2.5" HDD, and will ship with either Linux or Windows XP. Pandoras will be sold as complete systems only, with monitor, mouse and keyboard. Estimated prices are $399 for Linux models and $499 with Windows XP, which is certainly an attractive price given that base model Mac Minis don't ship with a monitor or keyboard. Expect the Pandora to be out for Christmas in North America.
