Apple Music originally launched on June 30 of last year, but the app wouldn't show up on Android until November. Nearly ten months later, Apple's "revolutionary" music service on Android is out of beta.
Today's update brings the app to version 1.0, and it's not without new features. Users will now have an equalizer, which will give people more control over playback. The feature should show up in Settings, rather than in the app itself.
Here's the official changelog:
Apple Music is now available on Android. Thank you for your feedback during the beta period.
This update includes equalizer settings and a variety of performance, playback, and stability improvements.
Like its iOS counterpart, Apple's music service on Android offers a three-month free trial. Sadly, there is no reward for having used the beta for the last ten months. If you've already used up your trial, you'll need to pay.
Version 1.0 of Apple Music is available now from the Google Play Store.
