Apple Releases Backup 3.1

 Apple has released Backup 3.1 to .Mac subscribers. The newly updated software is available both through Software Update and through member's Apple software folders. Backup is Apple's automated archiving software that's designed to protect a user's data. The company describes the release as offering added support for some backup destinations and addresses file restoration. It also repairs "other issues", according to Apple.
