Apple today released bug fix and performance improvements updates for all of its operating systems today. The new updates include iOS 12.1.3, macOS 10.14.3 Mojave, watchOS 5.1.3, and tvOS 12.1.2. As you'd expect by the version numbers, there are no new front-facing features included.
Here's the changelog for iOS 12.1.3:
– Fixes an issue in Messages that could impact scrolling through photos in the Details view
– Addresses an issue where photos could have striped artifacts after being sent from the Share Sheet
– Fixes an issue that may cause audio distortion when using external audio input devices on iPad Pro (2018)
– Resolves an issue that could cause certain CarPlay systems to disconnect from iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max
There's also a long, long list of security fixes that go along with each of these updates. On iOS, there are fixes for vulnerabilities that affect AppleKeyStore, Bluetooth, Core Media, CoreAnimation, FaceTime, IOKit, Kernel, Keyboard, libxpc, Natural Language Processing, Safari Reader, SQLite, WebKit, and WebRTC.
The lists for the other updates are pretty similar. If you want to check out the full lists of security fixes, you can find them here.
