While Microsoft was releasing its Anniversary Update, Apple has some updates of its own. Today, the company released new builds for its public betas.
iOS 10 and macOS 10.12 Sierra Public Beta 3 are available now. For those wondering, there is no public beta program for watchOS or tvOS. The news comes almost two weeks after Public Beta 2.
The builds should be nearly identical to Developer Beta 4, which was released just yesterday. Apple must be getting more confident in the quality of its betas, as the previous Public Beta was offered two days after the corresponding Developer Beta.
iOS 10 brings a number of new features to Apple's mobile operating system. These include a new lock screen experience, overhauled Maps, Music, and News apps, and a ton of new features in Messages, such as extensions.
Siri is the headlining feature of macOS 10.12 Sierra. Users will be able to unlock their Macs with an Apple Watch as well, but they'll also find features that are in iOS 10, such as facial recognition in Photos.
The new betas are available now. If you want to sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program, you can do that right here.
