Another iteration of Apple's tvOS 10.1 Developer Beta is available today, coming two days after its iOS 10.2, macOS 10.12.2 Sierra, and watchOS 3.1.1 counterparts. Build 14U588 is the fourth beta, and it focuses on fixes.
The main new feature of tvOS 10.1 will be the new TV app, which was announced back in October. The app is meant to be a hub for all of your movies and TV shows across different services, despite the fact that it won't support Netflix. To find apps that are supported, you can use the Store tab from within the app.
There's one fix that's noted in the changelog for this release. "Clear Play History" under Settings -> Apps -> TV will now delete your play history across all of your devices. Remember, the TV app will also be pre-installed with iOS 10.2.
As usual, there is no Public Beta for tvOS, so if you just can't wait to get your hands on 10.1, you shouldn't have to wait too long. Apple promised that it would be released in December.
