With Apple stores outside of mainland China still closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, it's currently difficult to find the proper physical support for your iPhones and iPads. Thankfully, the Cupertino-based tech giant has updated its virtual support tool for customers today with a few enhancements to user interface and troubleshooting options, among others.
Apple has rolled out a new update for its Support app that introduces a fresh new interface and support for dark mode. There are improvements as well to how customers can find a step-by-step guide for troubleshooting their Apple devices. Additionally, the update brings changes that make it easier to find support via call or chat. Here are the full release notes for the update:
- All new customized user interface, including Dark Mode support
- Get smarter solutions for even more topics using guided, step-by-step troubleshooting
- It’s now easier to find support for all of your Apple services and subscriptions
- New and improved chat and call experiences
The changes bump up the app's version number to 4.0 and it's now ready for download from the App Store.
